The smocking gives it just enough stretch that it pulls on without a fight, which is huge when it's already 90 degrees out. The straps stayed put through a whole afternoon of crawling too. Only thing is I wish it came in more colors.

The gathered bloomers give it such a playful silhouette, and the lightweight fabric kept my little one cool during our afternoon stroll. Those delicate straps are surprisingly easy to snap on for a squirmy baby, which is a win in my book. I’ve already got it washed and ready for the next warm day.

Snapped this on my daughter for a backyard birthday and the smocking gave her plenty of room to crawl around without it riding up. Only gripe is the straps slip off her shoulders a bit, but the bloomers stayed put all afternoon.
