The smocking on the straps actually stays put and doesn't dig into my shoulders, which I wasn't expecting from a maxi this flowy. Wore it to a backyard dinner and ended up sleeping in it, it's that comfortable.
I’ve been living in this dress since it arrived—the variegated smocking actually molds to my body in a way that feels custom, and the true maxi length means I can lounge on the couch or run out for coffee without adjusting a thing. The lagoon gingham pattern is even prettier in person, a bit deeper
The smocking on the bodice and straps is what sold me, and it really does hug in all the right places while still feeling loose. I basically live in this thing now, it's the perfect length for lounging around but looks put-together enough to wear out for brunch.
