The variegated pink stripe gives it this really lovely vintage feel that catches the light nicely. The barrette clip underneath held my thick hair securely all day without slipping.

The barrette closure is much sturdier than I expected—holds my thick hair in place all day without slipping. The pink stripes are subtle enough for work but still add a nice pop of color. Only wish it came in a slightly smaller size for half-up styles.
