The smocking on the bodice stretches just enough that it never digs in, even after a full day of chasing my toddler around. I expected the jacquard stripe to feel stiff but it's soft right out of the wash.
The variegated smocking across the bodice gives it this textured, handmade feel that I keep noticing every time I wear it. Wore it for a lazy Sunday brunch and didn't want to change out of it after. The green jacquard stripe is even prettier in person.
