The straight skirt on this one sits so much cleaner than my old ruffled nap dresses, and the cognac gingham goes with basically everything in my closet. Wore it for a nine-hour travel day and the crinkle fabric still looked fresh when I landed.
The crinkle gingham barely needs ironing, which is huge for me since I wear this thing straight out of the laundry basket. The straighter skirt gives it a cleaner look than my other nap dresses, so I've worn it to lunch and not just around the house.
The neckline and bodice fit exactly like my favorite Goldie dress, but the straighter skirt feels a bit more pulled-together for actual outings. The crinkle fabric means I don't have to iron it after washing, which is a huge win for a nap-to-errands dress. Just wish the skirt had a little more give
