The smocking gives it just enough stretch that it pulls on without a fight, which is huge when it's already 90 degrees out. The straps stayed put through a whole afternoon of crawling too. Only thing is I wish it came in more colors.
The gathered bloomers give it such a playful silhouette, and the lightweight fabric kept my little one cool during our afternoon stroll. Those delicate straps are surprisingly easy to snap on for a squirmy baby, which is a win in my book. I’ve already got it washed and ready for the next warm day.
The smocking detail looks sweet and the fabric is light enough for summer, but the straps feel a bit flimsy and I worry about how they’ll hold up after a few washes. Fit runs slightly big on my little one, though that means more room to grow into.
