The straight skirt is what sold me over the Goldie — it hangs so much cleaner and doesn't balloon out when I sit down. Wore it through a 6-hour travel day and the poplin barely wrinkled.
The poplin has a nice crisp weight to it that doesn't feel flimsy the way some cotton dresses do. The straight skirt is cut generously enough that I can actually sit cross-legged on the couch without it riding up. Wore it straight through a lazy Sunday and didn't want to change.
I was skeptical about the "nap dress" concept, but the straight skirt is actually flattering enough to wear for brunch, and the poplin is breathable enough for an afternoon nap.
